271 Private John Joseph FERGUS, a 24 year old Labourer from Chinchilla, Queensland. He enlisted on 21 August 1914; and subsequently was Discharged in Australia, 14 September 1914. He re-enlisted on 4 January 1915 with 11th Light Horse Regiment, B Squadron; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 17 July 1919.
