SS Hawkes Bay

 

7th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 12th Reinforcement Hawkes Bay Group, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board SS Hawkes Bay on 23 October 1915.

The SS Hawkes Bay was built at Sunderland in 1891 and weighed 4,583 tons. It was owned by the TYSER LINE (G.D.TYSER & CO.)

The ensuing individual soldier's embarkation information contains the following details:

Declared age of the soldier;

The last occupation held;

The last address as a civilian;
