1st Light Horse Field Ambulance, AIF, 4th Reinforcement, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A9 Shropshire 17 March 1915.
The HMAT A9 Shropshire weighed 8,130 tons with an average cruise speed of 15 knots or 27.78 kmph. It was owned by the Federal SN Co Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 5 August 1917.

1803 Private Alexander Dale FRASER, a 29 year old Teacher from Newcastle, New South Wales. He enlisted on 8 February 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 22 November 1919.
1801 Private Clifford HANLEON, a 27 year old Clerk from Ashfield, New South Wales. He enlisted on 8 February 1915; and subsequently Discharged in Britain, 18 September 1917.
1802 Private Max VALKENBURG, a 26 year old Traveller from Chatswood, New South Wales. He enlisted on 15 February 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 12 June 1919.
