My grandfather went under the name John Henry Lester. Going on his war dossier he was in the 1st Anzac Mounted Division Machine Gun Squadron. Does anybody have any information on this subject. I wish to find out as much as I can as my father was only ten years old when his father died. Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.
