I am the grand-daughter of Trooper Gordon Edwards who was a member of the 12th Lighthorse. He was wounded in Gallipoli and came to the UK where he met my grandmother a VAD at his recuperation hospital, they married in 1916 he returned to rejoin his regiment but in 1918 Nov 24th he died in Palestine as a result of illness. He had two brothers who I believe both served with the 12th Lighthorse.
