Can anyone help me with details of the 4th light horse at Gallipoli. My wife's grandfather (1082 M R Bruce)enlisted with the 7/4th LH and arrived at Gallipoli in Oct 1915 and posted to A Troop, A sqdn. OIC Col. J Forsyth and later Col Long. Evacuated December 1917 on "Caledonia". In particular what is the best published History which may refer to his unit/Regt? Is the C E W Bean history from the Aust.War Memorial a worthwhile purchase for this. Thanks. Geoff
