I am trying to locate any information on my grandfather Cpl. Charles Herbert Chalmers, Regimental number 2154. My mother said he was in the First Light Horse Infanty, but his final unit was A.M.D.TRAIN.He enlisted 3.8.15 and returned to Australia 20.7.19. Does anybody know what A.M.D.TRAIN means, I am trying to find out for my sons and also mum as granddad was mid forties when he became a father in the late thirties.
