Having undertaken to do some family research I was to discover my Grandfather William Walter Williams had enlisted and served in the 10 Light Horse Regiment. No one in the family has any recollection of him serving in any armed forces. I have recieved his military papers and it was an amazing read, he was wounded in action at the Dardenelles on 9/6/15. Would anyone with any infomation about him or anything to do with the 10th Light Horse would be much appreciated. Anzac day will no doubt have that very special meaning for me now and if i was to get replicas of his medals will march with pride for the duty he and others served.
