Hello - I'm trying to research the military background of the small township of El Arish near Mission Beach in North Queensland, which is a Returned Soldier Settlement named after the town of El Arish which I think was on the Gaza Strip. The town has streets and roads with names like Jaffa, Mardi, Quatia, Chauvel, Royston and others. If anybody has any information about the Light Horse and the Palestinian El Arish, could they please contact me? Thanks very much
