Hi,
I've only just located this site, but my grandfather, JOHN EVAN MORRIS was in the 1st Light Horse, 2nd Brigade, 5th Regiment, which was raised in QLD. He was in the second landing at Galipoli, in May 1915 and after the withdrawal was sent to France.
I'm reading CEW Beans's "Anzac to Amiens" at the moment but information about the regiment is very sketchy. I've been all over your site but cant see any mention of the 2nd/5th.....Can any one help?
