I am having trouble finding any records of enlistment/service of my grandfather, Ernest George Hills. Newspaper articles/pictures of my mother's place him at a training camp in Albury (NSW) on 12th August, 1910, although he joined the 1st Australian Horse in Qld. Further newspaper articles place him with the 1st Australian Light Horse at the annual encampment in Emu Park (Qld). He was an instructor and his rank was Sgt. Major. Period of enlistment was from 1910 - 1914 approx. Any information will be greatlt appreciated. Thanks, Terese.
