looking for info on the story of sampson/samson the only warhorse to be brought home.. apparently an english officer saw this waler being abused by a hawker, so he thrashed him..and took the horse.. he later found out it was sampson/samson who was the only waler to be brought home. i was told there is a book on it..and may have something to do with foggerty feeney
