I am doing research on the Australian Light Horse in the desert during the Great War with the goal of receiving my master's and eventually PhD somehow involving this subject. Right now I am going to Australia in late April through May, courtesy of the US Marine Corps and am going to have stops in both Brisbane and Townsville. What I am looking for is recommendations on places to do research on and/or get books about the Australian Light Horse that are in or near these places. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
