In his book "25 April 1915 - The Inevitable Tragedy" Denis Winter refers to a Major Millington who, he wrote, settled on the Asiatic Peninsula and from there tended Australian graves at Gallipoli for 30 years. The author's comment may have been based on an article in The Bulletin of 25 April 1964.
On a recent visit to the AWM, I asked the staff if they had any knowledge of Major Millington. However, they do not.
I would be grateful for more information on this man.
