Hi Guys

I was wondering whether any of you could shed light on this, as I read about it in the official Australian history of World War One by C.E.W.Bean.

It states that the 9th Light Horse captured a Standard from the '46th Turkish Regiment'.

I remember speaking to a Troop Leader in 3/9 SAMR who said that until recently it hung in their Officer's Mess. Has anyone ever seen it? What does it look like and what condition is it in?

I find it quite interesting as they are the only Australian unit that I know of that has captured a standard in battle.
