thanks rob,gee your your bit of buff! thanks for the information on the books i will try and track them down. now in reference to the word 'SUPY' it was used the context in that he was promoted twice to captain {awarded bravery medal}but was twice demoted as he was 'SUPY' to establishment he then had off the front,england etc.when returning records show duties where 'duties horse dip' so i guess the boys really gave it to him. his name is Frank edgar Elliott 13th light horse 1915-1919 returned his brother Lambert Elliott 22nd batt died in belguim 3/10/1917 bomb while digging trenches R.I.P. my grand father was with the 3rd light horse he served quite late 1918-1919. just recently our family has recently come across my collections from all three of them many many postcardsbooks of england,france, egypt,photos letters etc allwhich giving find myself for more information about there movements so thanks again i,am being called for dinner bye
