The South African “National Monuments Council” has a database of military deaths in the Anglo Boer War - British and Boer (and African?). It is at:
http://www.nationalmonuments.co.za/search.htm
The search gives Surname, Initials, Rank & Regiment. The database may be experimental, as it is now not shown on the homepage, although a few days ago the bottom of the home page only had “Anglo Boer War Database” to go to the Search page.
The Cuncil (not a Commission now) has restricted the data posted, ie no date of death or where buried. They will supply additional information/photo for a fee of $NZ 20.
