your inquiry on George Reid and the 14 LH is this. George Enlisted with the 12th Light Horse Regiment as 552 on the 17th Dec 1914 and was invaided after Gallopli to Australia 20th Jan 1916. He relisted in the 29R/6 LHR as 3444 23-April 1917 and was posted to the 2nd ASH (Aust Stationary Hospital) he was then posted to the 14 AGH (Aust General Hospital) and RTA July 1919
Why he was sent to the AAMC units I don't Know? but he never served with the 14 LHR!
