From the Order of Battle, 1912-1918 (Militia only) the 28th Light Horse Regiment had the Territorial Title of the 'Illawarra Light Horse' with the area ofg recruiting being Albion Park, Dapto, Canterbury, Berry and Milton and formation being Divisional Cavalry.
