Larry: the women 'extras' I referred to were in 1980's movie 'The Lighthorsemen' not in Charles Chauvel's 1940 movie 'Forty Thousand Horsemen' which, I believe, used Light Horse militia men as extras. The only other Chauvel in the Australian Light Horse during World War One (the other being Lieut-General Sir Henry George Chauvel) was Captain James Allan Chauvel, Remount Unit.
