The Official History is a good beginning for some of it, but not all, as its maps are inconclusive. The picture of the charge, authentic or not, is a good talking point because it identifies a season, some people, tactics etc. You will need to investigate the strategy of it, although I don't know how you would explain Chauvel's "Put them at it." statement as strategy. (Not verbatim as I'm doing this from memory.)
