You could not get a better role model or example of a leader for your young cadets than Breaker Morant. He should have been awarded the DSO or higher for his gallantry and meating out of veldt justice. Anyone who criticises the Breaker for his actions should put himself in the Breaker's position after the death by torture of his best friend Captain Hunt at the hands of the Boers. The Breaker should be made a Saint! It is so easy for 'armchair' critics these days to despise this great man for the great leader and horseman which he was.
