Has anyone checked out the 'Light Horsemen' farrier leather pliers stamped 32 BTY 23 FAB; the LH braces; the LH leather pants and the two pairs of LH leather leggings; and lastly the 'WW1 military Gallipoli Light Horsemen bit -a very rare and sought after WW1 Light Horsemen bit. This bit has been looked at by a militaria expert and it is from the Australian Light Horse that fought in Gallipoli. The horse bit has two brass badges either side of it with 'Edward VII' ............. Edward VII, King during World War One? Another example of MISLEADING INFORMATION on the Internet. What would Light Horsemen be wearing leather riding pants for? My guess is that the pants and the 'leggings' are perhaps motor cycle riding apparel.
