It's hardly surprising that, in quoting from 'Scapegoats', the impression given by people is that Morant and Handcock were wronged, as that's exactly what Witton is saying! For all those who seem to be constantly implying that this is some kind of modern-day invention, maybe you need to read the book. Or read it again. Ben
