Are you actually reading what you are writing or does your myopia prevent you from looking up the word bias in the dictionary? To prevent a search that may be lengthy, bias means a slant. In Witton terms, a view. In this case, the truth. Witton says that Handcock admitted the execution of Heese to him. He wrote this in a letter to Thomas in 1938 (?) after Thomas wrote an article on the trial. Point: Witton supressed the truth because he knew it would be damaging to him and the others. Moral: You're meant to read more than the title. This is called research.
