Thank you for your reply. In some forms of horse battalions they were assigned a specialist guy who carried dentistry instruments with him and he was the one who was assigned to care for the horses teeth in I think they told us a group of 30 horses. I thought maybe the Light Horse had an organized guy such as this. Anyway, the art is not dead.... We astudy and carry out the equine dentistry to a very in depth paramiter and so are in a way "re-inventing the wheel" so to speak, as our forebears who relied on the horse were very skilled in the field of Equine Dentistry. We have a 1890 video of an Equine Dentist in Germany that is doing all the same things that we do today and I'm sure had a very good understanding of the dental paradigm.
