I've been flogging this discussion board...Anyway. I was wondering if anybody had any idea on how many Aboriginals were in WWI? And if there was any hostility towards the Aboriginals from the Australians who were fighting in the same unit as they were, (as I understand it, Aboriginals were split up into separate units and not kept together in the same regiment) so they was always the posibility of an Aboriginal being by himself. I was wondering if they were and how they handled it. This is all concerning Aboriginals in the LH of course. Not much about them is mentioned. Thanks.
