I disagree with Rob's comment. D Holloway "Hooves,Wheels & Tracks: History of 4/19 Prince of Wales's LH Regt and its predecessors" shows the red & white patch dating 1915-1918 and the two blues patch 1916-1919. 4LH was raised as the Div Cav Regt in 1914. Two sqns + RHQ went to France in 1916 and served as 1st Anzac LH, the 2nd Anzac LH abd finally as XXII Corps LH Regts. They retained the red and white patch. The remaining sqn in Mid East was reformed into a regt in 1916 as part of 4LH Bde. This regt adopted a new patch the two blues. 4LH was in fact a double regt.
