You can read LtCol Neil Smith's book "Men of Beersheba". It gives a close hand account of the charge and the diagrams of the formations. You will notice the C Sqn's deploied by troops in column of route, this, I think was to have and organized group of soldiers at hand to move them as the situation required. A and B Sqn had beeen so disorganized during the charge to be almost unless (as an orginized body) untill reorganized.
11th Light Horse was on outpost duty and had trouble bringing the regiment together in time, they followed the charging 4th and 12th regiments capturing 400 prisoners.
