I was born near London & have British nationality - "born, but never asked" (Laurie Anderson) and, yes, I am still "in my prime" (Jean Brodie). My father used to work for the ANZ bank in London & had served in the Essex Regt & Commandos (Chindits-Burma) WW2 - his father was a CofE vicar and had been a driver in B Btty HAC, part of 19th Brigade RHA, AMD Egypt-Palastine WW1 - I still have to locate the old photos which my uncle should have. My ancestors are English, Irish, French & Scottish - all in all, a real mixed bag as you can see. Best regards, Jeremy.
