If the volumes are anything like the other sets, the post 1935 version contains some revisions, although the reason they were reprinted was because they sold out. The first edition is always the best to collect, though. Another thing to remember is that this volume is one often studied (and quoted) by academics because of Gullet's "characterisation" and myth making of the Australian soldier. For what it's worth they also analyse C.E.W Bean as well. A good cross reference is the medical volume Vol 1 Gallipoli, Palestine and New Guinea which is rarer.
