417 Sergeant William Norman MCCOLL, a 26 year old Reader from 33 Bent Street, Paddington, Sydney, New South Wales. He enlisted in the AIF on 28 September 1914 and was allotted to the 13th Battalion, D Company which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board Transport A38 Ulysses on 22 December 1914. MCCOLL subsequently was transferred to 45th Battalion. MCCOLL was Wounded in Action, 7 June 1917. During the Great War MCCOLL Died of wounds, 29 July 1917, at Estaples, France.
