Lieutenant Francis Maxwell BARTON, a 21 year old Student from "Nyrangie", Gladesville, Sydney, New South Wales. He enlisted on 9 October 1914 and was allotted to the 13th Battalion, E Company which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A38 Ulysses on 22 December 1914. DUNNE subsequently was Wounded in Action, 2 May 1915. During the Great War, DUNNE was Killed in Action, 11 August 1916, at Mouquet Farm, France.
