Captain Henry Charles DAVIES, a 36 year old Gentleman from "Liopoto", Rosevears, West Tamar, Tasmania. He enlisted with the AIF on 10 November 1914 and was allotted to the 15th Battalion, H Company which embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A40 Ceramic on 22 December 1914. DAVIES subsequently was Wounded in Action, 2 May 1915. During the Great War, DAVIES Returned to Australia, 10 June 1915.
