Turkish Engineers Captured at Gaza
While not stated in the original album, it is suspected that these Turkish prisoners were captured during the 1st Battle of Gaza, 26-27 March 1917. The Light Horseman guarding the prisoners appears to be from the 5th Light Horse Regiment confirming that this picture was taken at the 1st Battle of Gaza, 26-27 March 1917.
