Prior to embarkation, the first 12th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, produced a photographic record of the Regiment. Since there are no other official photographs existing of this Regiment, this has become the best reference for that unit. We have named photographs of various members. Not many, but they are in this booklet. Also the various sub-units have been photographed. While we are not able to name the men in the photographs, we do have a record of their anonymous images.

Major Harold McINTOSH
Major Harold McINTOSH, a 46 year old Grazier from Bathurst, New South Wales. He enlisted on 16 April 1915; and subsequently Died of Wounds, 24 April 1917.
Major Donald CAMERON
Major Donald CAMERON, a 37 year old Grazier from Aberdeen, New South Wales. He enlisted on 16 April 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 20 July 1919.
Major Philip Arthur CHAMBERS
Major Philip Arthur CHAMBERS, a 38 year old Grazier from Mosman, New South Wales. He enlisted on 10 April 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 17 July 1919.
