3848 Sergeant John GRAY, a 37 year old Labourer from Moonie Ponds, Victoria. He enlisted on 7 September 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 29 April 1919.

Embarked with the 4th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 30th Reinforcement Commonwealth Group, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A73 Commonwealth 2 November 1917.
