The 28th Australian Light Horse Regiment

Allied with King Edward's Horse (The King's Overseas Dominions Regiment).

History:
This Regiment was formed from the Squadrons along the coastal region south of Sydney. From the 1st Light Horse Regiment, the 3rd and 5th Squadrons were added to 2nd Light Horse Regiment's 6th Squadron making the new 28th Light Horse Regiment. In 1921, the 28th Light Horse Regiment was joined to the 6th Light Horse Regiment becoming the 21st Light Horse Regiment. In 1929 it was linked to the 1st Light Horse Regiment to become 1/21st LHR and thus, as a unit ceased to exist.
