9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 1000 - 1100 Route march dismounted.
During the month much time had been given over to sport and recreation. The Regimental football team trained each morning and only lost one match in the Inter-Regimental matches during the month. Leave parties were allowed to visit Tripoli daily. During the month the horses were exercised on the beach from 0630 to 0700 daily and at the end of the month were in good heart and condition. A 30 yards rifle range was made within the Regimental area but owing to the several wet days and excessive number of duties very little shooting was done. During the month the weather on the whole was good.
