Carew Reynell Diary - Still trying to get stables properly organised in different holds by the officers in charge.Men recovering from seasickness. Smooth sea but long swell. I bet Captain Scott that I could arrange stables in No. 1 Hold so that mucking out would be finished in 45 minutes - wager £1.
Two horses with pneumonia but others all well.

Wednesday, February 14, 19179th Light Horse Regiment Location - Hod Masaid, Sinai.
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Field firing in the morning. A, B, and C Squadrons practiced advancing mounted with covering fire. Linacre, Lieutenant FJ, to Kantara to take charge of Brigade Transport. Further five per cent Other Ranks left on two days leave to Port Said.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Bleechmore, Major C; and, nine Other Ranks returned from Port Said Rest Camp. Ayliffe, Lieutenant SH, returned from Imperial School of Instruction, Zeitoun. 15 Other Ranks proceeded to Port Said Rest Camp.
