7th Australian Light Horse Regiment

7th Australian Light Horse Regiment, AIF, 28th Reinforcement Kyarra Group, embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A55 Kyarra 7 September 1917.
The HMAT A55 Kyarra weighed 6,953 tons with an average cruise speed of 14 knots or 25.92 kmph. It was owned by the AUSN Co Ltd, London, and manned by Australia officers and crew. The Kyarra was leased by the Commonwealth until 4 January 1918. The Kyarra was torpedoed and sunk by a submarine in the English Channel, 26 May 1918.

3351 Private Robert CARLILE, an 18 year old Butcher from Coogee, New South Wales. He enlisted on 16 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 27 June 1919.
3354 Private Harry Ernest CHRISTIAN, a 24 year old Labourer from Pyrmont, New South Wales. He enlisted on 18 March 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 27 June 1919.
3383 Private Edward William DALE, an 18 year old Farm labourer from Bellingen, New South Wales. He enlisted on 24 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 27 June 1919.
3355 Private Henry William DEAN, a 29 year old Farmer from Narrabri, New South Wales. He enlisted on 12 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
3360 Private John William HARRIS, a 24 year old Miner from Albury, New South Wales. He enlisted on 5 April 1917; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 23 December 1918.
3368 Private Alexander McCALLUM, a 36 year old Farmer from Tumbarumba, New South Wales. He enlisted on 20 January 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 January 1919.
3377 Private Walter WHITE, a 22 year old Farmer from Inverell, New South Wales. He enlisted on 27 February 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
3380 Private Thomas Albert YOUNG, a 26 year old Plasterer from Woollahra, New South Wales. He enlisted on 15 April 1917; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
