2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, AIF, 16th Reinforcement, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A47 Mashobra 5 April 1916.
The HMAT A47 Mashobra weighed 8,174 tons with an average cruise speed of 12.5 knots or 23.15 kmph. It was owned by the British India SN Co Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 21 December 1916. The Mashobra was torpedoed and sunk in the Mediterranean, 15 April 1917.

9872 Private Arthur MAKEPEACE, a 25 year old Labourer from Eagle Junction, Queensland. He enlisted on 12 August 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 28 June 1919.
9876 Private Edward James O'CONNOR, a 20 year old Carter from Denmark Hill, Queensland. He enlisted on 25 September 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 3 July 1919.
9877 Private Philip Neir REDMOND, a 23 year old Engine driver from The Valley, Queensland. He enlisted on 18 October 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 10 March 1919.
