The HMAT A62 Wandilla weighed 7,785 tons with an average cruise speed of 16 knots or 29.63 kmph. It was owned by the Adelaide SS Co Ltd, Adelaide, and manned by Australian officers and during her service by mainly Australian crews. The Wandilla was leased by the Commonwealth until 24 January 1917.

8851 Driver George Redmond FAULKNER, a 31 year old Fruiter from Rosewood, Queensland. He enlisted on 9 September 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 10 September 1917.
8853 Private Alexander Carish JENKINS, an 18 year old Jewellers apprentice from Newtown via Toowoomba, Queensland. He enlisted on 28 September 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 4 May 1917.
8856 Private Albert Wellington JOWETT, a 25 year old Labourer from South Brisbane, Queensland. He enlisted on 18 August 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 6 November 1918.
8852 Driver John Lewis PENFOLD, a 22 year old Draper’s mate from Toowoomba, Queensland. He enlisted on 30 September 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 13 December 1918.
8855 Private Albert Edward POWELL, a 22 year old Warehouse man from Clayfield, Queensland. He enlisted on 18 September 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 21 March 1919.
8854 Private Robert Levi WINDSOR, a 19 year old Blacksmith from Sandy Creek, Queensland. He enlisted on 29 September 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 9 August 1919.
