2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, AIF, 9th Reinforcement, embarked from Brisbane, Queensland on board HMAT A1 Hymettus 17 September 1915.
The HMAT A1 Hymettus weighed 4,606 tons with an average cruise speed of 11.5 knots or 21.3 kmph. It was owned by the British India SN Co Ltd, London, and leased by the Commonwealth until 15 May 1917.

Embarkation Roll
1693 Private George HACKETT, a 28 year old Rail worker from Spring Hill, Queensland. He enlisted on 5 July 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 23 December 1918.
1694 Private William Alexander LINDSAY, a 20 year old Draper from Paddington, Queensland. He enlisted on 23 July 1915; and at the conclusion of the war Returned to Australia, 15 June 1919.
1692 Driver William SKINNER, a 31 year old Farmer from Alstonville, New South Wales. He enlisted on 8 July 1915; and subsequently Returned to Australia, 15 February 1918.
