1st Light Horse Field Ambulance, AIF, 15th Reinforcement, embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board HMAT A57 Malakuta 16 March 1916.

The HMAT A57 Malakuta weighed 7,430 tons with an average cruise speed of 12 knots or 22.22 kmph. It was owned by the T & J Brocklebank Ltd, Liverpool, and leased by the Commonwealth until 24 January 1917.

The ensuing individual soldier's embarkation information contains the following details:
