9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Deir el Belah
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 1500 Regiment took over right sectors of the Goz el Taire outpost line from 12th Light Horse Regiment.
At 1800 the Brigade concentrated near the I in Goz el TaIre and at 1930 moved to the Wadi Sherai and took over outpost line on the east of the wadi with the right covering the junction of the Beersheba and Khalasa roads and the left resting on El Mendur.

9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - 1330, Mounted training.
Corps Commander and Dean, Colonel, visited the Regiment.
1919

9th Light Horse Regiment Location - Zagazig
9th Light Horse Regiment War Diary - Two rifles were stolen from 3rd Machine Gun Squadron tent Zagazig station guard during the night 15/16 April 1919. One prisoner arrested for assaulting 3rd Machine Gun Squadron man at station guard.
Stephen, Lieutenant HH, returned from hospital.
Numbers 6, 8 and 11 Posts, Belbeis Line, proceeded by motor lorry at 1300 today and took over garrison of Belbeis railway station together with two Lewis Guns and teams [British Units].
No. 1 Post, Belbeis line, moved to No 4 Signal Cabin, Zagazig railway station yard.
Strength increased to one officer and 24 Other Ranks.
