Hi. I am currently writing and illustrating a book on Australian Army uniforms from 1901-2001. A particularly interesting uniform I want to include is one of the Melbourne Cavalry, a fairly nondescript unit that was raised around 1897 but didn't survive much past 1903. One source says that it was subsumed into the ALH but there doesn't appear to be any records to support this. Can anyone help with information about this unit? Thanks. Phil
