I am looking for information regarding my Great Uncle.. I do have a picture of him and I was told that he was in the lighthorse, but the problem is that I was told that his name was Emanuel (Matt) O'Meara/O'Mara.. But I have been unable to find any record for him..I did however come across a listing for a michael who was in the 7th lighthorse, Emanuel did have a brother Michael so I am thinking that perhaps there was just confusion over the name.. Could anyone offer some advice on how to eliminate or confirm that Michael does belong in my family??
