this is the official history: Nicol, C.G. 'The Story of Two Campaigns. Official History of the Auckland Mounted Rifles 1914 - 1919.' Wilson & Horton, Auckland, 1921.
It may be hard to get in a library in the States, so if you tell me who your grandfather was, I can have a look in my copy for any information on him.
