My grandfather was Arthur Sims from Murwillumbah. I believe he was a member of the First Australian Light Horse and that he served in the Middle East during WW1. He died many years before I was born. His wife, Kitty,found some great photographs of him whilst he was at war. I'm very proud of this heritage and I suppose being a serving member of the police force in the outback, a "civilian' army if you like, I am most proud of our Australian Army. I think our serving members are legends and I can't do enough to help them if the opportunity presents itself. Perhaps it's my way of saying thankyou for what we owe them. Lest we forget ..
